Anorexia nervosa is a serious eating disorder involving self-starvation, body image distortion, and an intense fear of gaining weight. It affects both the mind and body, often involving anxiety, control issues, perfectionism, and emotional suppression. While mudras cannot treat anorexia, they can support healing by:

•Encouraging self-nourishment and emotional acceptance

•Calming anxiety and obsessive thoughts

•Reconnecting with the body with compassion

•Supporting the digestive system and nervous regulation
