Eligibility-

  • 200 Hours Yoga Traditional Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin , Yoga Nidra, Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Course eligibility.
  • The participants should have a basic understanding of Yoga which means they are exposed to Yoga practices.
  • The participants should be able to practice the discipline of Yoga such as purity, punctuality, early waking up, participation in daily activities and so on.
  • The participants should have good command on English language or manageable as this is the medium of education.
  • The participants must have medical fitness; physical as well as mental. In cases otherwise, they must detail the individual limitation along with a medical report.
  • The participants must have natural will and commitment to undergo the 10 days of intensive training with discipline in order to imbibe the knowledge of Yoga.

Syllabus

Module 1: Hatha Yoga

Here you will learn Yogic breathing techniques (Pranayama), Yogic cleansing (Shatkarma), Yoga poses (asanas) and meditation in theory and practice. With deep understanding, you will also be instructed in the teaching methodology for Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breath control) and Dhyana (meditation) so you can share your experience with your own students. Start your journey and explore your true potential with the help of yogic practice, which has been taught and followed by spiritual masters for centuries.

Module 2: Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Flow is a mind-body movement practice that combines dynamic flow, strengthening and stretching techniques, conscious breathing, mindful awareness, and relaxation in a comprehensive practice that aims to improve strength, stamina, balance, mobility, posture and body awareness while reducing tension, stress, and poor postural habits. Suitable for the general population, Vinyasa Flow can be modified to meet the needs of a wide range of participants and in a wide range of environments.

It is our aim that when you complete this program you will be able to clearly demonstrate each movement, guide the general participant safely through a balanced sequence of techniques, and instruct simple breath-work exercises. As well, we encourage each Vinyasa Flow instructor in demonstrating the philosophies of Vinyasa Flow in their practice, and professional and personal interactions.

Module 3: Yoga Therapy

An authentic yoga therapy teacher training practice.  Yoga therapy course meant for those who wants to learn therapeutic approach of Yoga. Yoga has been ultimate healing and transformational science for centuries. Through Yoga therapy teacher training program we will look into common health issues we face today. We will address the health complaints of modern world, such as asthma, cardiovascular system, and back pain problems.

Module 4: Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow paced and passive style of yoga practice where postures are practiced on the floor in a static way for an extended period of time ranging from two to five minutes. Yin Yoga TTC is programmed to maintain a perfect balance between body and soul while practicing yoga postures. You not only learn the basics, how different postures work on different parts of the body and how deep they impact while offering you relaxation but will also master the skills to impact this form of Yin Yoga to your students effectively.

Guidelines

It is advisable to arrive at evening 6pm Karuna Yoga Vidya Peetham the day prior to the course so you can be fresh and well-rested for beginning your Yoga training. During your stay at Karuna Yoga Vidya Peetham, it is strictly prohibited the consumption of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances. Silence and inner focus are the prevailing climates while in the yoga hall. Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself: with respect, openness, kindness, and love. Avoid criticizing or gossiping about other people.

Do not say anything about someone in their absence that you would not say in their presence. It is pure wisdom not to criticize others or the world. They each contribute to a harmonious clean atmosphere in the class. Be open to honest feedback and guidance. This refines and matures both yourself and the teacher. True communication uplift, inspire, and nurture the spirit. Students must be present at least 5 minutes before starting the class. Being late might be detrimental to your learning, and may disturb others as well as the class flow. Switch off your mobile phones or tablets during any class.

It is mandatory to participate in all the classes, as 95% attendance it’s a must for graduating from the course. In case you might feel sick you must inform us. All articles must be returned to their designated places and it’s strictly prohibited to take out anything from the yoga hall which doesn’t belong to you. Please refrain from giving things to the staff, like money, clothes, etc. without consulting the director of the Yoga School. Kindly follow the given timings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and in case you skip any meal, make sure to inform Karuna Yoga Vidya Peetham in advance so they can avoid waste.

 

It is strictly forbidden to eat or drink (except water) inside the yoga hall. Do not be quick to become involved in personal relationships and avoid superficial interactions that arise merely out of habit. These can easily take your attention away from the purpose of joining this course. Remember why you are here! In case you have any physical issues, you should inform the Pranayama and Yoga asanas teachers before starting the class!
