Where is Nadi located?
- Nadis are not physical structures that can be seen or located in the body through traditional anatomical means. According to yogic philosophy, nadis are subtle energy channels that carry the life force energy (prana) throughout the body, similar to how blood vessels carry blood. They are said to exist on a subtle level and cannot be seen by the naked eye or detected by conventional scientific instruments.
- However, certain areas of the body, such as the spine, are believed to have a concentration of nadis, including the three main nadis (Sushumna, Ida, and Pingala) that run through the spinal column. These areas are often the focus of yogic practices such as asanas, pranayama, and meditation, which are believed to help activate and balance the flow of energy through these channels.
