Ashwini Mudra: How to Do It, Precautions, and Benefits
Ashwini Mudra (अश्विनी मुद्रा) is a powerful yogic practice that involves rhythmic contraction and relaxation of the anal muscles. The name “Ashwini” means “horse” in Sanskrit, and “Mudra” means gesture or seal. This mudra is inspired by the way a horse contracts its anal sphincter after defecation, which helps in energy retention, strengthening pelvic muscles, and enhancing spiritual energy (Prana Shakti).
