What is biomechanics?
Biomechanics is the study of the mechanics of living organisms, including humans. It combines principles of mechanics, physics, and engineering to analyze and describe the behavior of biological systems. Biomechanics is a multi-disciplinary field that involves the study of structure, function, and motion of biological systems, ranging from cells and tissues to organs and whole organisms. In relation to hatha yoga practice, biomechanics helps to understand how different yoga postures affect the body and how to perform them safely and effectively.
